Did you know that Facebook has over 2.38 BILLION daily active users with 76% dominated by women and 30% of those women are checking in multiple times per day? With stats like these, it’s pretty safe to say that we believe Facebook is where you should be marketing your biz! After all, it’s women who love to shop and share!
So Many Options
There are four completely different ways to market yourself on Facebook. You can connect with your audience through your timeline, business page, groups and events. We’ll be diving deeper into each of these avenues in the next four weeks right here on our blog. But first we wanted to explain the layout of Facebook, how it works and why you need to be utilizing it like crazy!
Expand Your Reach
Think back to the days before Facebook existed. As a direct seller, you hosted in-home parties in your neighborhood and participated in vendor events throughout the year. The tried and true methods are still going strong and we love it! But now, with the power of social media, you can expand your reach tenfold just by engaging with your friends from your Timeline and Newsfeed. We’ll show you how to post content that will be shared and discussed in a non-spammy way. No one likes to feel solicited!
Virtual Business Card
Having a fan page, also known as a Business Page, makes it easy for people to find you in a search. There is where you have all your information contained in a pretty little branded package so people can A. Learn more about your products and B. Learn more about you. Posting content that will keep them engaged and coming back for more is the key. We’re going to show you how to do it in our next blog post!
Create a Community
Facebook groups are an amazing way to connect with your customers! VIP groups, team groups and niche groups are all places you can grow a community and express yourself by providing interesting topics that are related to your business. They’re also wonderful for throwing Facebook parties as long as you go about it the right way which we’ll explain in more detail in a future blog post.
Teach and Entertain
Events are great for gathering people together in one place to throw virtual parties and classes. The guests can learn all about your products and have fun doing it! A friend who hosts a party may have a friend three states over but she can attend your virtual Facebook party from the comfort of her own home – in her pj’s! How amazing is that?
We can’t wait to see your posts in our news feed!
